Pricing approach

  • Fixed fee (Ad hoc)

    For discrete or project work, we will agree a fixed-fee in advance with you.

    For example, for new contracts, our fixed fee covers an initial call, initial draft of the contract, interim call and a final draft. Any further iterations of the document are subject to further fees.

  • Retainers

    For our fractional GC support, we agree a monthly fee with you in advance.

    The retainer pricing will never change retrospectively – that is, you’ll never get a surprise invoice if we’ve had a busy month and done more than the allocated time.

    If you have consecutive busy months and the pace doesn’t look like it will drop back, we will proactively discuss with you revising the retainer level moving forward.

  • Hourly rates

    In limited cases, we will offer hourly rates.

    It is not our preference to offer hourly rates, as we think the transparency and accountability of fixed-fees provides better value and service for our clients. However, we also appreciate that every circumstance is unique and so we can discuss the best option with you.

  • Discounts available

    We offer discounts on fixed-fee and retainer offerings for: not-for-profits and charities and early stage start-ups.

    If you think you might fall within one of those categories, let us know on our initial call with you and we'll make sure the discount is included in our quote.

    Please note, discounts will not be applied retrospectively. If we have not included a discount in our quote, we won't include it in our invoice!
